About Us
Compassus Living Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The purpose of the Compassus Living Foundation is to aid hospice or palliative care patients who have emergent or exigent needs not otherwise provided for and for which they would not otherwise be able to reasonably afford. We provide financial assistance to help meet non-medical living expenses such as housing and utilities, last wishes and final arrangements.
Recipients are not required to be patients with Compassus or its affiliates.
History
Established in 2010 and originally known as Hospice Services Foundation, we were renamed as Hospice Angels Foundation in 2013. With the introduction of Compassus, we rebranded as Compassus Living Foundation in 2017.
Our humble beginnings had us focused on 50 hospice programs providing 100 grants annually. We now proudly serve over 150 programs across all 50 states, providing over 500 grants each year.
