About the Compassus Living Foundation
The Compassus Living Foundation is committed to providing non-medical assistance for patients and their families across the nation in times of financial distress, known as “Necessities of Life.” These “Necessities of Life” can include support for rent, utilities, patient wishes, partial assistance with final arrangements, etc.
Support is focused on the following guidelines:
- Shelter Me: Examples include rent, mortgage, utilities, home repairs, extermination, etc.
- Wish with Me: Financial assistance with final wishes of the patient before passing. Some examples have included local/regional outings with family, airfare for relocation, theme parks or parties.
- Comfort Me: For partial costs of final arrangements, such as cremation
